Margate's Turner Contemporary will open in April
Turner Contemporary
The new Turner Contemporary art gallery in Margate will open on Saturday, April 16, 2011.
French artist Daniel
Buren will be creating a new installation in the ground floor space,
while other new commissions will be provided by Conrad Shawcross and
Kent-born Ellen Harvey, whose piece will reference Turner’s links to
Margate and display alongside Turner’s own architectural sketches.
